Happy is Leah Quinelle's spunky pennywhistler, banjo player and all-around creative genius! She writes, draws (including all the drawings on this website), sings with the voice of an angel and plays guitar: what more could you want? She dreams of touring in a vehicle powered by vegetable oil. A vegetarian since birth, Happy was raised in a cult in Iowa until she ran away to New Orleans to join the circus. And I know you think I am making this up, but it's all true.

Happy is so punk it hurts! She shaves a mohawk before every tour (sometimes in the bathroom of the club right before the show!)She was once accused of destroying the Iowa City punk rock scene. One look at her and you'll understand how! The dulcet tones of Billy Joe from Green Day on the MTV introduced punk rock to her meditating, incense burning brains and saved her life! Now she tours the country, selling punk rock porn and revolutionary literature, singing her heart out, and hoping to save others.
